About me

As a dual-subspecialty diagnostic radiologist with a passion for podcasting and radiology education, I am excited to share The Radiology Review Podcast and The Radiology Review Insider with you. Drawing on my own journey—successfully tackling the ABR Core Exam, ABR Certifying Exam, and ABR Nuclear Medicine Subspecialty Exam while maintaining a fulfilling life outside of radiology—I deeply appreciate the value of convenient, on-the-go radiology education.

My career spans roles as a radiology physician-scientist and clinical radiologist at leading academic cancer centers and as a clinical radiologist in private practice. I have served as the Principal Investigator on numerous investigator-initiated, society-sponsored, and industry-sponsored clinical trials focused on advancing cancer detection through innovative technologies. Additionally, I have expertise in imaging response assessment for oncology trials, contributing to groundbreaking advancements in cancer care. In January 2024, I transitioned to private practice allowing me to further my radiology experience and skillset.

Beyond clinical practice and research, I am dedicated to supporting the radiology and nuclear medicine communities through active participation in medical imaging societies. I have also contributed as a peer reviewer for several respected radiology journals.

My work and advocacy has been featured nationally on platforms like PBS and Katie Couric Media, as well as various local, regional, national, and international outlets.

Outside of work, I find joy in the great outdoors through activities such as trail running, rock climbing, and skiing. At home, you’ll often find me immersed in a good book or playing video games with my kids.
